Djalkiri Keeping Place

The Djalkiri Keeping Place is a community collection of historic artworks, objects and photos that have been collected in Milingimbi since the early 20th century. This Keeping Place is where we house repatriated images of works that are held in collecting institutions around the world to share with our community. We are located on the grounds of the Milingimbi Art and Culture, a community-owned Art Centre that is governed by an all-Yolŋu board of artists and elders.
